The Jeweled Earth
In its earliest days of evolution, the planet earth was like a treasure chest loaded down with jewels. Today, not much of the jewels remain and those that do are fast becoming depleted. Think of the many pristine rivers, snow-capped mountain ranges and emerald forests bedecked with mantles of jeweled flora and fauna that would be the envy of royalty. Beneath the vast open terrain lay precious metals, stones and natural veins of gases and oils.
